postheadericon Doc Miller Derby Trail Ride

To follow up the 5K Run at Caesar Creek State Park on April 27th, we are happy to announce a trail ride in honor of our beloved and missed Doc Miller. 

The ride will start at the The Horseman's Campground at Caesar Creek State Park, located on Furnas-Oglesby Road off of St. Rt. 73. 

Registration is at 1pm. 
Cost is $20
The self-guided ride will be from 2-4pm.
Prize drawing at 4:00. 
Dinner served at 4:30.

postheadericon River of Hope 5k Doc Miller Dash

The 2nd Annual River of Hope Ranch 5K Run/Walk is a fun event to help raise money for River of Hope Ranch, held at Caesar Creek State Park in Waynesville, Ohio on April 27, 2013.  This year the run is dedicated to Dr. Steven Miller “Doc Miller”, our beloved father and inspiration for River of Hope. The Ranch is a 501c3 organization that provides equine-assisted mental health counseling and vocational learning programs for children, teens, & young adults.

  • The 5k race course will start at the Flat Fork Ridge Recreation area located just passed the main entrance of the Caesar Creek Visitor Center and continue through the beautiful trails around the park. 
  • Location: 4020 N. Clarksville Road in Waynesville, Ohio.
  • Registration begins at 8:00am followed by the 5k at 9:00am and the kids’ mini dash at 10:00am. Award ceremony will follow the kid's run.
  • Fee: $30 includes T-shirt and refreshments if registered (Non-refundable) $35 if registered after April 15.
  • Awards:  Top 3 Male and Female in Age Categories 10 & Under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 &Over
  • Some of our horses will be there to meet you!

Open enrollment for individual children. This program is designed for beginner riders who want to enjoy all the Ranch has to offer. Includes equine-assisted growth and learning activites, hiking, fishing, arts & crafts, and trail riding.

- Ages 5-12
- 9am-3pm
- $250 per child
- Bring a sack lunch!

postheadericon Horse Almighty Advanced Summer Camp

Open enrollment for individual children. Launching our first ever advanced camp. The focus of camp this year is dressage. Even if you are a western rider this will really improve your seat and introduce you and your horse to something a little different. This camp will be open to 12 campers only. You may bring your horse and stable it here during camp. It does not cost extra to stable your horse you just need to supply your feed and buckets. We have lined up some of the best local trainers to advance your horsemanship skills to a higher level.

Bring your group for a day full of fun, outdoor activities! This program is designed for kids who want to enjoy all the Ranch has to offer. Includes equine-assisted growth and learning activites, hiking, fishing, arts & crafts, and trail riding.

- 10am-2pm, or flexible dependent upon group needs
- $50 per participant
